Detail Itinerary

Program 1: Bangkok—Ayuthaya

Departure daily y

Day 1: Bangkok - Mekhala on the river (D)
14:00 Transfer from hotel to pier and board Mekhala Cruise.
15:00 Depart Bangkok on the "Legendary River Cruiser Mekhala," the Chao Phaya River past Grand Palace and Temple of Dawn.
Just after the sunset, the Mekhala docks at Wat Kai Tia, a Thai temple set in a tranquil rural village. An exquisite candlelit dinner of mouth-watering Thai cuisine is served on the deck. Overnight on board in your air-conditioned cabin.

Day 2: Mekhala - Ayuthaya - Bangkok (B/L)
A delicious breakfast is served on board then depart for Bang-Pa-In where your guide will await for the visit of the Summer Palace. Continue by long-tail boat to the ancient capital of Ayuthaya. After a lunch at local restaurant, visit the idyllic ruins of the once glorious capital destroyed by the Burmese. In the late afternoon, our air-conditioned mini-bus will return you to your hotel in Bangkok.

Program 2: Ayuthaya—Bangkok

Departure Daily

Day 1 Bangkok-Ayuthaya—Bang Pa In (L/D) 08:00 Departure from your hotel and travel by air-conditioned mini-bus to Ayuthaya. Upon arrival, visit to the archeological site of the once glorious capital destroyed by the Burmese. Lunch at local restaurant and then travel to Bang-Pa-In by long-tail boat to explore the Summer Palace. After this visit, your guide will drop you off.
Board the Mekhala and cruise down the Chao Phya river to Wat Kai Tia for a candlelit dinner and overnight on board in your air-conditioned cabin.

Day 2 Mekhala - Bangkok (B)
After a delicious breakfast on board, cruise down the river into Bangkok passing spectacular views of the Grand Palace and the Temple of Dawn.
Arriving late morning in Bangkok and transfer to your Bangkok hotels.
