Detail Itinerary
Hanging over 5000 km square with the population
of 6000 people, with lush greenery of mountain
ranges is just the beginning of your expedition
to the jade of Far East. Imagine a land lush in
tropical forest and emerald rice terrace fields
and a land alive with very colorful tradition
and culture. The old French-built hill station
of Sapa (1600m above sea level) is the natural
starting point for a unique experience of the
Sapa area. This includes the Hoang Lien Son
mountain range, and Indochina's highest peaks,
Fansipan (3143m), and 6 different ethnic
minority groups, each one colorful, distinct and
with its own language and cultural values.
Day1, Wed: Overnight train to Sapa
Our trip starts with an overnight train journey
from Vietnam's capital city to the border town
of Lao Cai. The luxury Victoria Express . departs
at 22:00pm.
Day2, Thu: Laocai - Sapa
The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station
at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle
waiting to transfer us to Sapa. The drive
to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around
1.5 hours to make our way up the mountains. Once
at Sapa, we will check into the hotel, we have a
freshen up and breakfast and then ready to
explore Sapa town. We embark on a lovely
Walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat
Cat, home to the Hmong hill tribes
minority peoples. As we walk to the villages
nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will
meet some of the local minority people on their
way to and from Sapa. Here we have the
opportunity to share cultural experiences with
the families that live in the area. Diner and
overnight at Victoria Sapa hotel ..

Day3,
Fri: Sapa
Breakfast at the hotel. We then embark on
a lovely trek that will take us along buffalo
paths and trails and through several hill tribe
villages of Lao Chai and Tavan, home to H'mong,
and Dzay people. This is a absolutely
spectacular walk through stunning scenery
inhabited by some of the friendliest people you
can meet. Once on the valley floor you can
really appreciate the wonderful scenery that
surrounds you. The walls of the valley are
covered with multi-layered rice terraces and
scattered villages. Overnight at Victoria Sapa
hotel .

Day4,
Sat: Sapa - Cancau (market) - Tribe villages - Sapa
Rising to the sounds of morning coming to life
for another lovely day, we breakfast and
head out for a stunning spectacular of bobbling
bazzar. Cancau 's considered one of
the most wonderful and colorful markets in
extreme north Vietnam where thousands of local
people in
their traditional attires busily buy and sell
the local produces. Dog, cat, pig, horse... are
all on sales. This is golden opportunity to take
best shots! Afternoon we have a pleasant walk to
Flower H'mong
village of Banpho. Return to Sapa. Overnight at
Victoria Sapa hotel .

Day5, Sun: Sapa - Binhlu market - Tribe villages
- Hanoi
Visit the colorful Sapa Saturday market where
Black H'mong, Red Dzao, Giay , Tay minority
people come in droves to buy and sell their
local produces. We then drive by Silver
water fall and Congtroi ( gate to heaven)
on a scenic journey to stunning pass of Tri Ton.
Visit one of most amazing tribal
markets in Binhlu market where thousand of
Thai Kadai language groups such as Tai Lu
, Tai Laos, White Tai , and H'mong - Yao group
(black Yao, Yao Lantien..), Giay, Khomu..
comes to buy and sell their own produces. This
is opportunity to get insight into local
life. Visit textiles villages of Tai Lao at Hon
village. We then transfer to Laocai station for
overnight train back to Hanoi with fond of
memories. The Victoria Express leaves at
21.15pm

Day6, Mon: Arrival Hanoi
Arrival Hanoi early in the morning we can
however extend our sleep till 7am in Victoria
Express A.C cabin.
